its 40 here so i can imagine. never knew russian summers where this hot. although for me 35-38 is childs play i would have no problems there its the winter thats a deal breaker about russia in general.

no no thats not the reason rus, i figured based on yr how severe yr winters are that yr summer is probably chill but i soon discovered nope. my girl is in vladikavkaz now and its 40 for her there. i thought i'd only see these figures in the middle east.

visiting family. why are u shocked its a nice city from the pics i've seen although where her parents live, the russian name is way too hard for me to remember but its some where near a city called "mineral water" is pretty cooler!! its zhel sth sth

it's nice when you come with western money, everything is dirt cheap to me. But when you go past the first impression and start to think a bit a wave of depression hits you. one of my friends down here is about to become a doctor in chemics, he's working about 45 weeks per week and his pay is 700 KM ( roughly 320 euro ) . It's sad to see people in the zenith of their youth, when they should be enjoying life, not being able to find jobs. All they do is sit around in a cafe, sipping the same cup of coffee for 2 hours at the time and talk. A general stench of unsatisfaction is in the air and it's terribly worrying for me.

I'm glad to be back and see the family, but i think of myself as lucky because i'm not here all the time

in addition to that it's 41 degrees in the shade right now so I'm showering with cold water every 40min to cool down . how's life?

It's near me, North Osetia region, my friend is working there at russian customs i didn't know that ur gf is from Caucasus we honor the traditions here a lot and she should cook you an osetian pies:

with cheese, meat, potatoe or green vegetable filling fuckin' delicious :toast:
