it's nice when you come with western money, everything is dirt cheap to me. But when you go past the first impression and start to think a bit a wave of depression hits you. one of my friends down here is about to become a doctor in chemics, he's working about 45 weeks per week and his pay is 700 KM ( roughly 320 euro ) . It's sad to see people in the zenith of their youth, when they should be enjoying life, not being able to find jobs. All they do is sit around in a cafe, sipping the same cup of coffee for 2 hours at the time and talk. A general stench of unsatisfaction is in the air and it's terribly worrying for me.

I'm glad to be back and see the family, but i think of myself as lucky because i'm not here all the time

in addition to that it's 41 degrees in the shade right now so I'm showering with cold water every 40min to cool down :D . how's life?

that sounds a lot like here, but i have to say we have it a bit better for sure. i agree with how you feel regarding being able to find greener pastures but it takes time i suppose to recover from a war bro. enjoy yr stay there though, its nice to be surrounded by family to be honest  as for the weather thats probably the biggest downside to yr trip, but you r curing it perfectly :D i'm guessing at night it gets cooler so thats sth to look forward too. i'm doing alright not bad, pretty hungry at the moment but should be having my meal with my friend and his newly wed wife so it should be a pleasant time. enjoy yr holidays bro :)
