But it is logical. Marijuana is illegal to protect big business interests and I don't see that changing in my lifetime.

Marijuana is the same as alcohol. When you don't abuse, it is even less harmful than cigarettes. It seems to me a little bit absurd that all people are absolutely free to become an alcoholics, but just even having weed in your pocket its a crime !

The one problem is stereotype ! People even don't want to hear about legalising weed =) They all shout "Drugs Drugs... say NO to drugs and so on". But all that is needed is enough law regulation ! And thats it ! To make it legal, to empower one of the state body to give licenses for manufacturing weed, make the price the same as for elite alcohol, and capture some best "weeddillers" to work for government =D And the shelves of supermarkets will be full of good legal weed =D
