Assets much better than a fat bank balance.
I agree.
If the servers crashed they would just make it up. "That's more or less what he had", you wouldn't know the difference. It's not like any value's been lost. :D
You don't lose money if servers crash. Banks keep records of it.
Well of course they'll have backups of all their data. But considering how a lot of transactions happen online, especially in my case where my salary is wired to my account, it's just strange how it's turned out.
He must be watching fight club while typing that.
Actually, I've never seen Fight Club. :D

Hey, cash is funny too. Why should a round piece of metal with someone's face on it be worth anything? It's not like they pay you in cows. Those you could actually live on.

I know, right? It's funny how we first valued gold, then goldsmith receipts, then coins, then paper money, and now just numbers on a screen. Scary!

Not down here. I'd either have to be a farmer living away from the cities, or a milkman. Not options I'm particularly pleased with. :D

 GET THE fuck outta your pants and lie naked on the street untill you get run over!

What's stopping you from watching it?
:boh: I don't know. I just never got around to it. It must be like 2001: A Space Odyssey or Clockwork Orange considering the status people give it.
I'm an asshole, actually.

We still value gold. It's just inconvenient to carry that and do all your transactions in gold. Some people would rather have gold than bank accounts.

My cultural upbringing prevents me from killing cows. :D

We do, yes. But because of the inconvenience you mentioned, it's scary to see what we've come to use as a replacement.

Who are you?

It's not bad. Way better than many other movies that people love to death.
Exactly. Donno how you guys will take this but i dont get the hype around Pulp Fiction. Been into boring sessions with hardcore fans on how it invented the one liners and blah, saw it a couple of times (painfully the second time) and still hated it.
