Rumsfeld is good, though. And he's dead right. You don't credit a silly question by even giving it a rhetorical answer. Smooth guy, and you can see how years of politics have trained him well.

I take offense at the implication that A) I'm too lazy to work & B) That I didn't think of working.

I applied relentlessly for four months for jobs and I was either deemed over qualified because of my pending MA and degree or didn't get a reply.

I despise not working and depending on my parents, it makes me feel shit.
1) I didn't imply anything. You could have just answered. "No, I couldn't find work in my town". And that implies neither lazy nor thoughtlessness.:D

2) Me too. I hates it.
