Hello everyboday, good to be back!

i found my new favorite bar whilst being on my hiatus. it's hardly larger than 30 square meters, the interior is designed like an 18th century opium house, all the drinks are made with absinth and balloons of NOS are sold at the bar.

me and my friend stuck around til 2 am when the bar closed, then the bartender brought three girls, ecstasy and cocaine and proposed an orgy (i swear to fucking god). bailed out of that one though - seemed awkward.

Looks interesting but he'll never make anything better than Resevoir Dogs or Pulp Fiction.

Basterds was good, though not fully up to that quality.

Jackie Brown wasn't that good at all.


Kill Bill 1 & 2 were fantastic, and I enjoyed Inglorious Basterds

Agreed on Jackie. I thought the Kill Bills were a bit contrived and a little surprising in the yawner category. I had far more motivation watching Machete, for example.

I watched Dead Pool, the last of the Dirty Harry movies. It was filmed a year before I moved to SF and the earthquake hit here (1988). Horrible movie: I can see why they never did one afterwards. But it has a certain "James Carrey" for three minutes doing a rock video for GnR's "Welcome To The Jungle" before he gets killed off by suspect Liam Neeson's character. Both are in their early, awful movie careers. (Rattail haircuts? Ewwww....)

Some films were meant to be burned and forgotten.
