Now there we go. Self-effacement, that's something I can get behind.
For me, the arguments I get on here are due to the lack of emotion conveyed by the written word, all my friends find it funny and I say the same stuff in the same way...but with a voice :shifty: I mean basically everythin I say in a bitter ironic way, not seriously. Aside from the un-pc stuff.

I agree, I think that is the problem. Just every now and again the way you write something comes across to make you sound like a massive wanker.

Next time I do something like that point it out and i'll tell if it was serious. 90% of what i say isn't serious - the other 9% is about coffee, cooking and smoking. And 1% tends to be a serious opinion.

I'm a product of my surroundings, as everyone is, which for me was growing up on bitter, ironic & post modern comedy and not much else.

As if you don't do the exact same thing all the time. Come off it.
Cum on it.

And Sam, I don't know where you tried your food but that saying US has bad food quality is again uninformed in your part. Did you eat at some random diner? Did you have fast food? I don't know, but I can guarantee you that US has some of the best food on the Earth. Take a cheese-steak for example. There's places who make cheese-steaks that are to die for, and there's places that make shit-steaks.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that there's places that serve good food and bad food all over the world. US food is in no way of horrendously poor quality.

PS you'll have to forgive Deneb. It's memorial day and he's probably been watching the history channel.

Dude - I ate at expensive restaurants, from markets, deli's, dinners etc. etc. The quality of the ingredients was always lower quality than I can get here. Things that come as standard in the UK are deemed aas premiums in the US.

Well, we do get a lot more processed food over here. Tomatoes are more bland for one but you can hardly tell if there's cheese all over them.

And she'd have the personality of a bored horse.

Im not a snob about the fact I can cook, its one of my few passions and things I enjoy doing...having standards isn't being a snob.
I wouldn't mind as long as I get to see tits at the end of the date.

And relax crouchy mcgrouchy, i'm fucking with you.
