I want a tablet so bad :frown:
It's very balanced for one. Not too heavy on Bass or treble. A great improvement over stock earphones. At 2.6k, I think it's a fair deal.

Oh, if you're gonna use it with your phone too, then get the a-JAYS Four, which has a mic and call controls.

And speaking of tablets, Acer's gonna start the ICS updates for my A500 from 27th. :weee:

I won't have it any other way!

Like the internet killed print media...
I agree. Though I think there are positives and negatives to this. Not all people can either afford using the internet, or aren't savvy enough to know how to use it. While the internet certainly is more effective, everyone should have access to it and know how to use it.

Perhaps, this is something that takes a few generations to adopt.

:agree:

i'm getting sick of the hipsters sitting around the new "wine bars" with their tablets, scratching their douchey beards and polishing their thick framed glasses. half of them didn't even taste wine until they set foot in the "wine bar" . when the revolution comes, they won't make it.

Not really. It's just another way to consume media. It's easier than carrying around a laptop all the time and since it has a larger screen than a phone, helps people like me to browse and do other random shit online without having to strain my eyes. Most people don't have use for it, but for someone like me who spends at least 70% of my time awake online on a regular day, it makes like easier.

I prefer a paper to an online paper any day of the week and I will until touchscreens are as light, large and textured as paper.
I do too.

tablets are pointless, i would never buy one. either use a smart phone (like iphone) or use a laptop.

Of reading? Not really :p
No. I mean it would defeat the purpose of a tablet/e-reader.

That is exactly what I felt like until I used a tablet myself. It's not for everyone, but it's definitely not pointless.

good god now I'm really not taking that finance job. thanks for opening my eyes

well only reason I'd get an ipad is because drawing on it for 'draw something' (a game I have since quit after two weeks however) is much more fun than an iphone..

well it depends, that's just accounting. it wouldn't be as dry if you went into finance like financial planning and forecasting etc

Imagine a life that revolves around shoppin’
Conspicuous consumption
That means it serves no other function
But to show off to someone, or others
Who only try to show off to you – look at your fellow loyal customers
