I usually never ask this on the forum, but I could sure use some love right now.

They fired the 2nd underwriter last week, and I am left to pick up all the pieces. Finish underwriting the stuff that was assigned to her, look at conditions on the files that she approved, as well as work on my own files to underwrite and clear. I have worked every day since LAST Sunday, and I'm on the verge of a nervous breakdown.

It's bad enough that I am constantly sick, but this is making me feel even worse. I'm doing everything I can from either walking out of my job or sobbing, but it's getting very very hard for me to not do either at this point.

I am really at my breaking point. My superiors had no contingency plan whatsoever when they let her go, and now I'm stuck. I can feel myself going into the hospital sooner rather than later.
Dude, that completely sucks. Layoffs are shit for both the people leaving and staying.

But you do have a position of some power. Your employers are screwed if you go down. So focus on doing the best you can, but you should have leverage to set some limits.

Good luck, mate.

:agree: Take care Sarge.

Anyways, officially started apartment hunting today. Checked out a really nice apartment suggested by one of my wife's mates. It's a few thousand rupees more than our budget, but I think we'll end up getting it if the owner agrees to have us. I'll take the peace of mind and extra space over a few thousands saved, thank you very much.

I am sorry to hear that, Sergio. A shitty situation for everyone involved. You have plenty of love from me.

You take a right to get into Oil Mill Road after you get off the flyover, right? Instead keep going straight for about a kilometer. It's HBR Layout 1st Block. A couple of kms from where I stay now.

It still has only 2 bedrooms, but much bigger than where I stay now. So the cats get a bigger room and more space to run. Btw, we found out a week ago that both our cats are female. All this while we thought one was male.

I noticed that one of them had hairy armpits, wore jean shorts and a fanny pack, and seemed to be watching a lot of professional golf on your TV when we weren't looking.

So are men. Objects of love are the most painful, evil presences one can ever know. I'm sorry something shitty has happened to you, Dusan :(
Without the risk of pain, love simply isn't possible.

It's that girl again. :sergio: I stayed away cause she said it's the best thing to do... to chill, cause she can't break up. And she texts me now and in the end says how "I don't even care". It's just... I was left speechless. She went to sleep, thankfully, I'd probably break my cellphone otherwise, or just eat it.
