I don't know how it is in fifa 12, bit it was super annoying in fifa 11. Like I could start off in the club I like at 16 or 17 years of age and become captain of June after just one season. Plus, ball calling will work no matter where the other player is. If he was about to score a goal, and and I ask for a pass at the half way line, he'd pass it to me!

They took a few steps back in pes too. Earlier, I could retrain into a different position that'll help keep get into a preferred club. Now, I'm stuck with one position.

In fifa or pes? I still prefer starting out at a small club and working your way up rather than starting at Juve and replacing Marchisio in the starting 11 from the start of the season and playing full 90 minutes in every match.

Nope. You're stuck with the position you choose. I initially chose AMF, but couldn't join Juve. So had to start all over again!
