Wish I had your arm chair though :D

How's home life? Thinking of cloning yet?
It's nice. I've settled into it pretty well. Now since the wife has left her job to focus on her music studies, I get to order her around :p
No cloning, at least till the end of this year. I'm still young even though my hair is considerably grey :D

Music studies? What instruments? Or is it music theory? :D

Gray hair is a sign of distinction, no? :D

She's learning the piano and also pursuing a degree in vocals. She wants to be a music teacher, she's had enough of spending her time researching for investment bankers. I was surprised she lasted a year doing that :D
It sure is :p

You have learned it? All my attempts at learning a musical instrument has ended in failures. Not have enough patience for those sort of things. I will listen to music, thank you.

Back in my childhood I played the violin and I dabbled a tiny bit in piano too, but never really got anywhere with it.

Kids have no patience to practice playing an instrument.

These days, at least here, parents force kids to study music. It's a 'status symbol' of sorts.
Music is a great thing, but forcing people rarely works the way people think it will.

Should we have more people who can code to improve our computer literacy? Absolutely. Is it a good idea to teach all kids to do it? Eh, doubtful. :D

Even that happens here. I see kids in 7th grade being made to learn Java. Of all things, Java :lol2:

Testing the new "Mentioned" feature.

Gordon Bombay, Shogun got robbed against Hendo.

Let's not talk about this in three different topics E :D

But to answer your question, come on bro :D You know how devastating Hendo's right is, i dont recall a single fighter that took one and stayed awake (fedor included) Shogun took a dozen to the skull and came back in the last 2 rounds.

It should have been a draw

Why? Your girlfriend paints? :D
Oh, Martin. You've given away that you are under 18 on these forums.

Back in my childhood I played the violin and I dabbled a tiny bit in piano too, but never really got anywhere with it.

I did with the piano for a couple of years. But after a while, practicing the same things over and over again wasn't very inspirational -- especially when I could be outside playing with friends. (Though I know for today's children, playing outside with friends ranks somewhere around taking intravenous drugs in an abandoned minefield among parental risk factors these days.)

Perhaps if I had Chinese parents who insisted that my fingers bleed before I was finished, I would be somewhere with that and I'd enjoy the craft a lot more.

I do know a few Bangalorean kids into music -- singing, guitar, etc. Not surprised.

Music is a great thing, but forcing people rarely works the way people think it will.

That whole program of code-literacy thinking these days makes me vomit, and I'm interim CEO of a start-up that would benefit from that mindset. :shifty:
