Had a great day overall. Had a short introductory conference at our Cupertino campus and met a lot of people I'd only interacted over the phone or the HP forums. Had lunch and visited HP Labs and the HP Garage. Gonna go to another conference and head off to Perbacco for dinner.

BTW, I LOVE the valleys around here. I wish I could live in a house around Palo Alto. Shit's so calm, peaceful and lovely! :touched:

You're in CA already?
Yup. Arrived yesterday afternoon.

You're insane in the membrane.
Word to that.

Yo Sheikster!

Al Pacino knows you're in town. This is the front of the Castro Theater in the heart of SF's gay district just now...

Speaking of which, how many offices does Wells Fargo have around here, man? I thought of using it as a landmark to locate my hotel, but I got so confused. Damn!

Too many. It's a cancer. We got those like Borriello has the skeletons of little boys in his crawlspace.

You gotta learn the street names in America, son. None of those third world identifying tricks. Every neighborhood looks basically the same.
 So true. The Bangalore adage of "Go left at the corner where there are cows eating watermelon rinds" doesn't work in America.

Hey, I'm on Main Street, do you know where that is....?

Yea, over there, but it's 28 miles long.
Sounds like El Camino Real over here.

But it can have everything to do with guys trying to help an attractive damsel in distress. :agree:

How a woman experiences being lost is often quite different than that of a man, despite the stereotypes about directions.

 He's either a wrestler or the biggest closet flamer the Caribbean has seen since Henry Morgan fancied some booty with his seamen. :pado:

That is very true in some cases. I got lost the other day trying to find the passport office on foot while my dad looked for a car park and I guess I must have look pretty helpless because not only did I manage to get directions, I managed to score a car park space for him too. :p
