Maybe fight fire with fire. Start posting Facebook updates saying things like, "Lord, on the anniversary of the death and destruction of those tens of thousands of non-believers in Japan, we thank you for sparing us, your believers. Clearly you love us and punish the weak, the old, the Japanese. In obedience of your divine love, I promise to never come into contact with any of those wretched, weak evildoers as long as I live."
I approve of this.

Kate, that christian dude i told you about went to church this morning, every time i look on facebook now i see shit like this -

"My Heavenly Father, thank you for bringing me back to a realisation that human beings are weak thus tend to change depending on circumstances. You alone are the God who never changes never breaks a promise with Your beloved children. Keep me in your sight always. Protect me from falling into a temptation of being dependent on human beings. But make me love my Christian brothers and sisters more than ever so that even when they hurt me, I will be able to forgive them with your teaching in mind that all our sins have been washed away. In the name of Jesus, Amen."

Oh man. It just sounds like denial to me, and not being able to accept things/take responsibility. And I doubt God's on Facebook.

if you want to come ofcourse :)
I'd love to. It's one of the places I've always wanted to go. And I want to stalk Woody.

As a pasty white boy and honorary Desi from a past life, you should. It's a cultural kaleidoscope. That variety can be a little intense for some, as for everything that makes you gawk, you may see something that horrifies you.

I am ready. Ready to be gawked at, to get sick, and whatever other stereotypes come with it. I do wonder what to wear...

God doesn't need Facebook. He can read your mind FFS! :D
Why would he want to do that? :D

All of the above. It is one of the reasons India is perhaps my favorite country in all of Asia.

As for what to wear? Something that can withstand the heat. And you can always burn what you got and buy something there cheaply.

SXSW got rained out
 how is that even possible? No rain contingencies?

Now when I left they were setting up all sorts of outdoor party spaces. And the news was saying how rare it was for a forecast of four days of rain - just as I left the whole winds and temperature changed. But rained out??

One day, I hope. For now there's no money for flights.

And I meant more as to how much skin one can show. I'm prepared for heat.
