Money shouldn't be a problem. 1 Euro will give you 65 Indian Rupees. You can have a ball here with a moderate amount of money.

Being a South Indian, I naturally prefer the south. But it does have some cool places to visit. Try Jaipur, Udaipur, Delhi, Shimla, and of course, Bangalore down south to meet me and Asif.

I've only been to Delhi and Punjab, so can't really say much about the rest. But like Sheik said, it's worth it for the cultural diversity alone.

Just be prepared to be looked at like white meat by the guys.
