Which is why I used him. You need simple, melodic and nice songs to get into that kind of music - then you can fap to Vai. If you jump directly into Vai you'll most likely hate the sound of a guitar.

I don't think so. Vai will probably make you say "WTF!!! :wth:" when you listen to him. Those 3 I mentioned above would seriously make you hate it. Especially Yngwie. How people can stand him I will never understand. Him or any shredder for that matter.

I disliked Vai with a passion when I first heard him. Went from Metallica to Vai and quickly turned back.
