Hellz, yeah. Except it's more than just that. UC Berkeley likes to beat its chest about student diversity, but it was nothing compared to UIC. UIC had a bake sale for a different international student group each day and it would take three months just to go through a cycle. Georgian students? Syrians? Yep, they got 'em.
One of my more favorite experiences was my Latino buddy who took a Transmission Lines electrical engineering course with me taught by a Chinese instructor. His last name was "Cruz", but the teacher always addressed him in class as "Mistah Crutz".
