I see your logic, but no. Most people don't make high enough wages to pay the cost of college until almost decades after they've graduated. Some universities in the US cost 40k a year. So thats 160,000 over a four year period. Sure US wages are much higher than in other places, but the cost to wage ratio is ridiculous. When you consider that most university costs these days are covered in loans and add in interest, it becomes are very unbalanced equation. Especially, with the work climate being so anti-recent graduates.
But I heard it's rather easy to study there with student loans. My friend was paying 60k per year and she had no problems, but she did like 2 part time jobs in the mean time. I know those are huge ass numbers but you do cover it quite fast when you get a job. Can't even compare it with this place for instance, where we get like 300-400e per month.

It is easy to study, yes. Paying for the studying after you've graduated is the hard part. It's still a loan. Interest grows (even as you pay) and even if you graduate you have no guarantee of employment or livable wages. Most people make between 25 and 35k when they graduate, so it isn't covered as fast as you think when you consider cost of living and other expenses. Sure it's not comparable to Serbia, but it's nowhere as easy as you make it sound.

I don't have any plans yet, should I? :D
Judging by your post I thought you were already in Belgrade! :D

By the way, what do you do? I always see you traveling across Europe, the fuck is with that? :D

Yeah I get what you mean. But from what I've heard it's easy to have a part time job over there and still study.

But yeah, it's hard to pay so much even after you graduate, especially now with these crisis and huge unemployment rate.

Yeah, part time jobs are the only ones you can really count on, but they don't pay a whole lot. Usually your loans have to cover your housing as well and the part time job (unless you're really lucky) is pretty much for living/leisure expenses.

I always had one when I was in University, pretty much covered food, gas, car insurance and beer.

You should visit Motenegro in the summer, relax and watch beautiful girls. Well, not just watch :D

Belgrade is boring now, especially during the winter. Pretty much everything is closed and people rarely go out.

How come all of the sudden such huge prices?
Governments are failing to keep up with funding so more students are footing the bill.

Government loans are a big thing, but they still are largely paid off by the poor students. Still, universities like Phoenix and the like are making money hand-over-fist off of government subsidies of their accreditation.

Yeah it's a nice place to visit and people are great. Growing bigger with Russian investments.
In other words: get there now before it's a Putin outpost. :yuck:

Daaaammmmnnnn....

My lunch is reheated lamb shoulder and couscous that my wife made Saturday. This stuff would make me take out any Korean BBQ taco truck with an RPG.
