How much does the colour of the clothes you are wearing impact on how attractive someone finds you?

I've started noticing patterns in the compliments that I get from my girlfriend depending on what im wearing - I tested it this morning and I was right...

So anyone got expierence with an 3D television?
Made me feel sick, but all 3D makes me feel motion sick because it blurs.

That's not helping Sam :D

Well yeah because some clothing types/patterns look better on you then others, don't wear slobby sweaters always helps and pick up clothes which suits your hair and eye color, take that from a guy who's girl does most of the clothing shopping :D

I noticed that if i wear dark grey/dark olive (my two favourite colours) I don't get complimented. If I wear my black wool sweater with a white t-shirt i get load of compliments and if im wearing blue/green i am "cute" - I've been testing it all week to see if it is correct or not - im not weird.

This also isn't something I plan to use cynically - finding someone attractive is a pleasent feeling - finding the clothes/colours she likes me wearing is to make her happy, not me.

I think so, and it's not always just the colour. I tend to like mine more in black/navy, but then I prefer myself in black as well. What I find amusing is how much my boyfriend likes the things in my wardrobe that I don't.

I had that with my EX, she wore some stuff that I hated and barely wore some stuff that i thought looked great on her. She thought everything I wore looked awful, I don't blame her it was all metallica t-shirts etc. but at the time I didn't give a fuck :weee:

I love to wear blue in my free time as casual. Everyone always tells me that red looks hot on me but I hate to wear red because I feel like a tomato :shifty:

In the office I prefer black as a the female suit and a white/light blue blouse

I was like 19 and its a decision I stand by because those decisions I made in the past are how i've ended as i am today and im happy with who i am now - since then ive lost a load of weight and stuff like that.

I changed because it felt natural, I don't see I will change much again because i've gone from one of the extremes to more sensible and going back to another extreme of style is just too much effort.

I know what you mean :D And you don't need to say "female", just say suit :) We know you're a woman and assume you're wearing a women's suit.

Seen them live 4 times, seen iron maiden twice, Ozzy, AC/DC, trivium, Black Label Society, Korn, Slipknot, Def Leppard, megadeath and a ton more i can't remember. I fucking lived metal for 6/7 years. I always loved the blues, when i was 20 i started listening to more bluesy stuff and then more psych and more reggae and then i noticed that i just wasn't listening to metal at all about a year ago and now its just noise to me....kind of glad i dont listen to it anymore.

I personally view it was my gain. I got rid off my music snobery when I ditched metal too. As I said to you last week, I really couldn't give a fuck what people listen to, if you want to musicianship & tallent then its a different debate and one that I will have. For the most part i respect metal musicians, having been one for a long time, it takes a lot of effort and dedication to get good at what they do...I just don't like listening to it anymore, I don't care if other people do.
