Then why not just call it nature? The standard usage of the term "god" implies a conscious being who monitors and cares about humans and their actions. But nature is uncaring and indifferent. Mixing them up or considering them to be one and the same is something we should not do.

Indeed. I think everyone feels the need to be part of something bigger than themselves. But all it takes is the proper understanding of nature to see the grandeur in all of it. Such moments give me immense happiness and satisfaction and fills that need.
Who says nature isn't conscious ? science has showed that shit happens for a reason. There are very rarely random events in nature.. Either way if it was a superior being, I just don't care enough to find out

Either way, I'm out got a congested nose so im getting mad. Samurai Champloo till i knock out. Love you all...all homo

By consciousness, I mean human consciousness or one beyond human consciousness. Nature is not that. Nature does not have a brain or a mind that dictates how and why things act the way they do. Shit happens due to physics and chemistry. Shit happens because of natural forces and chemical reactions. Shit does not happen because a superior being wants it to happen.

Sorry Greggo but Parks is all about the characters

absolutely brilliant actors playing great roles. I never give credit to actors but these folks are funny unlike the office and other dumb shows

Couldn't get into it. Americans suck at deadpan mockumentary comedy. I've yet to see something of that genre I've liked.
I've seen a few episodes, but having actually worked in both a Parks and Rec Office and County Planning Office, I've lived way too much of it.

The Indian dude has his own Comedy Central stand up special. He's funny as shit.

Something like the original Office?
Except it takes place in an American local government office.
