And I thought in Romania they were the slowest :D
Oh hell no! Here's an example.

There are these 5 shops in the city that my grandfather gave on rent (5$ per month) After half a dozen years he wanted to raise the rent and the asshole refused to. Matter went to court and the fight began. 10 years later my Grandfather died with still no decision from the court so my dad took over the case. 7 years after that the guy who was occupying the shop died so his son took over the case. 9 years later (in 2007) my dad died so my elder brother took over the case. Yes, the court still has yet to come to a decision.

Today each one of those shops should be earning me 700$ per month in rent alone.

Problem is none of me or my brother has been living in my home town for years now...i just need to invest a huge amount and around 6-8 months in this issue to settle this outta court but i cannot afford 8 months in my hometown.

That shit is whack, yo!
Its all over in Mumbai and Pune. Maharashtra's Pagadi Rent Agreement from the old days was the worst thing ever!

I know lol...that is why i never got involved with this case legally, though whenever i am back home me and my friends dump and goat's head or intestines daily in front of his shop. Sometimes we stuff them inside his shop from the windows and the vents. Last year i drilled holes in his roof from the top and gave the room on the top to the the guys who collect animal skin from the slaughter houses which they later send to the leather factory. All the blood and shit would drip down into his shop for two months but since the property is in a prime market i was forced to shut it down :D

It was fun though :D

Shit Woody what the fuck?!
I know, thing is the guy is ready to settle outta court but since he has been such a pain in the ass i have rejected it. I do have a plan for this but im getting late to head to court. later :D

off to court :groan:

It's the same thing in Kerala. Laws have changed now. But it's only valid for new agreements. The old rent agreement favored the tenant hugely while the leaser gets fucked.

Btw, I would never want to be on your bad side :D
