No, sadly, didn't get much sleep.

Every morning when I leave my apartment there's this security guard for the whole block who just loves talking to me. I always run away when I see him in the morning, but when I come back I have no problem chatting with him.

I have the same with this guy who is the volunteer of the area and he always walks his dog in the morning. When he sees me he always comes to me to talk about nothing. I have the best excuse ever: I have to catch the buss bye (smiles )

I totally can see that happen every morning. The other day I had a day off/working from home. And I was sitting at the bench while watching outside.Then tthe guy was walking his dog again (he walks him 10x a day) and he waved. I was like to the kitchen

I was informed of its existence by someone a while back when I was bitching at them about it being unfair that English students in scotland have to pay whereas scottish students in scotland don't.

It doesn't make much difference at the end of the day.

All the devolved nations have their own budget to spend in proportion to their populace. If scotland chooses to spend it on student tuition fees and england chooses to spend that money elsewhere, the money is still being spent. You are still contributing to tax for the rest of your life, you pay for it in the end no matter what. The student loan is just an excuse to charge you £12 a month for the rest of your life, you will never pay it off - unless you come into a large sum of money, even then, would you want to spend a largee sum of money to pay it off when you could just spend £12 a month?

Of course, but Scottish students do not pay directly to study in their own country. I won't get into the issue of stealth tax or accumulative tax as it becomes ambiguous. In fact it is most likely that EU students will end up paying for the rise in costs, rather than any form of graduate tax or tuition fees.
