This might be an odd suggestion but anytime I cook meat in the house my cat smells it and she comes running. Same thing works if I take out her food and bowl and act like I'm going to feed her. They usually recognize the sound or smell.

My friend's cat usually runs away but it eventually comes home. I'm sure it'll turn up soon. :xfinger:
