Of course I don't know. I don't have any connections and most of the young people here are jobless. I'm doing this for myself and future.
If that's the case, you're better off studying abroad & forming a decent network where you can somehow assure yourself a decent future.

That sounds excellent, Sheik. I would have loved to go back and do something I'd not studied before, like that or psychology.
You know what they say about people that study psychology.

It is. And it is nice to have my brain challenged again, none of the jobs I have had have been very engaging or interesting and so I feel I've lost some of my ability for coherent thought.
I cant really say the same. my first job was quite challenging. My current job, while not very challenging, is certainly important, cos without it, I wouldn't be what I am right now.

I am glad for you. For a brief moment I was a researcher on a government project, which was the only job I ever had that was really interesting and where I felt important. Everything else is just paper pushing and data entry, and I am not really interested in any aspect of business whatsoever, so it's difficult to go up.

I plan to study philosophy, but I'm not sure if it's the right thing to do right now. I'm not even sure if this is just a phase that my mind is in, and whether actually studying it would be a waste of time and resources.
I don't want to stereotype you, because you may be different. But that sounds like a phase. And sometimes phases are OK. Sometimes you need them to later re-enforce what you don't want to do with your life rather than what you do.

I should also note that I have a minor in philosophy. And good luck trying to get a job with it. :D

Desi studying philosophy + naive westerners = Kerazy Cash Money baby.:D
I think Dhee-Dhee should instead pursue his musical persona as Gho$tface Killah.

They're in it because they got it all wrong, reverse Tony Montana style?: first you get the women, then you get the power, then you get the money?

I'm glad you've decided to pursue your passion in agriculture.
Dusan majored in Sandwiches, so...
