nothing much bro...played 2 hours of pool then went home and now i'm bored. how about you?
Doing a wee bit of research for my Diss, I was hoping that the occupy thing in new york would end yesterday after the police smashed up the camps but apparently the protesters are back. I am for the protests, but I am also for my dissertation being easier and if they end then I have a defined research time frame which will cover all the reporting, if they carry on i have to pick an area i want to focus on.

deadlift? what for?
Soccer. I have had a lot of knee related issues in the past few years. Nothing too serious, mostly patellofemoral pain. Deadlifts and Romanian Deadlifts help a lot in that regard. Problem is it is difficult to do deadlifts in season, because of the strain on your body. So right now I'm mostly limited to speed pulls. They've made me much more athletic though.

Also: my girlfriend is obsessed with my body after all this working out, so that's not bad either.

@ jasper - well good luck making peace with the pigs :D...why are they protesting about?
The "Occupy" movement is hard to define, there is no real central leadership and no real shared policy. The main complaints are that the rich are rich and the poor are poor - they argue that its unfair that banks are being bailed out whilst the poor are being left without jobs. The main slogan is 'we are the 99%' - that the majority of the wealth is being held by the 1% of the population, whilst the 99% are left with nothing.

I don't see how the movement is going to change anything, but it is global and a lot of people are pissed off about it. The issue is that the majority of the protesters don't understand economics, let alone global economics and can't offer a workable solution they are just pissed off.
