No, I'd rather have a job with a salary doing the same work. That way I can pay my bills and move out.

But in the mean time, working on a few projects gives me some income and something to share with employers other than "hey I'd really, really want to work for you". :D
There is that :D

Thankfully I haven't had any soul crushing job search experiences. Yet.

History students, those people have a way of sounding very smart. Are you studying history so that it won't repeat itself anymore?

I can recommend a course.. (see signature)
To be honest I had no idea what I wanted to study after finishing High School, so I just picked History because it never bored me, and because I freaking love being right in Pub discussions :D .

And yeah, I lurked around a bit in your thread but I saw that it was a few months old and studying intensely to catch up has never been my strong side xD.

That sounds like every history student ever. :D

Well it's too late to "catch up" because it's all over now. But it's not a time based thing anyway cause it's just lessons to do by yourself any time you want.

Yeah I thought I was the only one with those ambitions when I started - turns out 90% of the people out there are like that and the remaining 10% have no friends :D . I love the Uni though, Commie castle out there.

Really? I'm definitely interested in that, I have to turn in my petita this Friday, but after that I have oceans of time. Thanks

Yaw yaw

And yes, those are the few lecturers who make it interesting. On my first semester I had this guy, Vincent Gabrielsen, who had a Einstein hairdo, a tweed jacket and sandals (in October mind you) . Those lectures were better than the movies, he has so much passion for the subject.
