To be honest I had no idea what I wanted to study after finishing High School, so I just picked History because it never bored me, and because I freaking love being right in Pub discussions .

And yeah, I lurked around a bit in your thread but I saw that it was a few months old and studying intensely to catch up has never been my strong side xD.

Yeah I thought I was the only one with those ambitions when I started - turns out 90% of the people out there are like that and the remaining 10% have no friends . I love the Uni though, Commie castle out there.

Prof Campbell Craig is a G! He taught me for the 'Cold War' module, he is one of the best lecturers I had at the uni. He never used PP but managed to keep a class of 200 people interested the whole way through.

And yes, those are the few lecturers who make it interesting. On my first semester I had this guy, Vincent Gabrielsen, who had a Einstein hairdo, a tweed jacket and sandals (in October mind you) . Those lectures were better than the movies, he has so much passion for the subject.
