I feel confident in everything but my putting. I've been doing well getting onto the green and even using my pitching wedge. Its putting that requires the most practice as of now. I hear it doesn't get any easier.
Aye, putting can be a bastard.
Once you get the basic feel of it, it's just a case of experimenting with different styles and finding a putter that you're comfortable with.
I'm a good putter now, but I used to be pretty streaky.
Went through all sorts of different grips and stuff when I was younger, including gripping the putter with the left hand lower than the right (works quite well because it makes it harder for you to flick at it and encourages a smoother stroke).
Still, that's quite normal compared to some of the weird and wonderful putting styles the pros employ.
