Which supports the notion that it isn't the general concept of racism that's the social motivator for the double standard, but rather certain examples or types of racism based on their historical precedent.

Yeah, I totally see that. Or is it because someone is looking for the most convenient stick to hurl at you as an insult, and the best they can reach for is "nerd" because you don't qualify for black, gay, Jew, etc.?
