Stop lying, you were hoping you would "have to" go to Cuba to get it "repaired". :D
This week I got particularly annoyed over embargoes. There's the Cuba thing and all (cigars, coffee, whatnot). Then I was reading about how The Maxwell Plum used to serve Iranian caviar. Not that I want Iranian caviar, but it just reminded me of all the bullcrap rules about buying this or that product from a given country.

Also if you're in Iran or one of these other suspect countries you can't download anything (at least they make you tick a box on the user agreement promising that you're not from there) from oracle.com. :rndh:

I understand the political reasons and all. But I can't help but think some civilized nations should be at a point of treating their citizens with enough respect to let them decide whether they want to do business with a given nation or not.

Why yes, nations are famous for treating their citizens with all kinds of respect.

Get a Hublot. :nerd:
Lemme look.
Dude. You need to hook me up with your unauthorized watch repair places. :D I was hoping I didn't have to go to Cuba to get the damn thing fixed. ;) (Just that it wouldn't be under warranty repair and hence paid for.)
Naah. Just find the most shadiest watch repair shops in the shadiest part of the city, and they'll have parts. :D
Actually, checking both my original and replacement Fossil pocket watches, the same part on both watches broke.
Manufacturing defect!!!

You need to file a class-action lawsuit! :andy2:
