It's good, I've completely stepped out of my original program which was analyzing census data using stats and GIS. Now I'm working on like 2 land use projects, writing a brief history of development in the county, and doing research for new zoning regulations.

My last day was supposed to be yesterday, but I've been extended for at least 3 weeks. Possibly more, if I'm still available.

All the more impressive when you consider that just days ago my washing machine was leaking. It took much courage to run it twice today.

It's local government, which has a much smaller budget than federal or state.
