Yeah, he was cool. They had to postpone the concert for that night because he had a throat infection, but we talked for a few minutes about wine and music, and he signed a few of the bottles that I bought and took a couple of photos with us.

I'm currently listening to Rage for Order in its entirety as we speak.

I need something new, but I have kind of exhausted all of the avenues in my areas of interest. I need to branch out.

That's awesome! The only musician I've been able to meet was Joe Satriani's drummer when he was here. Pretty cool guy himself. And if autograph sessions count, then I met the guys from Opeth and got their shirt signed.

Then I'm not about to run down the list of singers/bands that I have met during my time. You will end up killing me.

Put it this way. Working in a Record Store in the late 80's whose owner was good friends with the concert promoter for the city of Providence during that time had great benefits.

I get lots of time to listen to music. Mostly all 8 hours at work, and about an hour while commuting. As for attention span, I guess I got that covered after listening to prog rock and prog metal albums spanning more than an hour.

What genres do you listen to?

Depends on the day, but my big ones are motown, English rock of the sixties (The Stones, The Kinks, The Animals, The Small Faces etc.), glam rock (T Rex, Roxy Music, David Bowie), just about anything made in the 80s, then all of the mod revival stuff like The Jam.

Hard to describe, really.
