What the fuck? That's bullshit! Take the damn medicine!
I thought the sick were still allowed to do what they needed to during Ramadan?
Yes i can take the medcine, but it's one hour till IFTAR so i don't to waste this day and have to fast another day to make for it.
So i decided i'll swallow the pain for one hour then have my medcine.

In Sura 16:4, Allah tells that a man should give more importance to himself when in times of sickness and bad health. That nothing is above looking after yourself.

You are going against the word of Allah if you do not take the medicine. :(

No contradictions at all, If I wanted to take the medcine i would and it won't be a problem; All sick are allowed to take the medcine and for chronique desease you don't have to fast at all like you said cause Islam tell us to take care of ourselfs first.
In my situation it's a choice cause i could have taking the medcine and by the end of Ramadan fast a day to make for it, but i've chosen to swallow the pain for one hour and take medcine after IFTAR.
