I was close to not finishing it either
Well the problem I have with it is the unrealism and outlandish storyline where they get away with murder but the authorities can't get on to them??? Or that Hank couldn't connect the dots that Tuco kidnapped Walt and Jesse??? Things like this just piss me off and ruin the credibility of the show.
Maybe because I haven't seen a better show than The Wire and with that being my benchmark its tough for me to overcome elements on non-realism.
The more over-the-top each episode gets the more turned off I get
It's a good show. It's just been progressively painting itself into a corner.
Though contrast that with Lost, which wiggled themselves out of everything by invoking a bizarre form of intelligent design.
