What do you mean by the term "prefer" though? As in a live or die situation?
Not too long ago my wife was with my kids in the park and my older son saw a puddle and went to play with it. The moment he touched the dog, its owner, some woman in her 40's grabbed the dog and started talking to it how it shouldn't let everyone touch her. Then it started cleaning it and told my son with a loud voice not to touch what's not his. The boy just stood there confused.
I mean those kind of freaks.

Well, those aren't normal people and should seek help, but be sure to know that not everyone is like that.

There's no point in comparing an animal with a human being, really, but I'd be willingly to save an ant than that piece of shit who shot that dog in it's head.
