Reading a bunch of two-page Letter of Intent proposals for ranking and review because I was asked to evaluate entrepreneurial proposals submitted to the US-India Science & Technology Endowment Board -- and, like the moron that I am, I said "sure"...

Anybody with a half-cocked proposal in the US or India and enough cash to bribe a volunteer like myself is highly encouraged to submit for a $250k-$300k grant. :D

I do think it was too much from their side, but IMO you too are exaggerating in this case. You were here for a while and I thought you realized that jokes are flying around whole day at this place. They don't want any harm but it's just how it goes. You should learn to ignore and dodge those, as it will stop sooner or later. Running away from such won't solve much.
Don't be so emotional.

i asked Alen to change his avatar and he denied it and i can have a lot of jokes (cos they made a lot)but when i ask someone to remove an avatar and he denied it. While he knows i don't like that and that is going to far whit such an avatar. i became mad i wasn't mad yesterday i am mad now. and i ask Kate to remove the picture and she did it and Alen don't. you all can make joke about me all day but when i ask someone to stop seriously i want them to stop if they don't do that i became mad.

I know what you mean, but at least I wouldn't blame him. He lost a bet, now he's not in a position to pick avatars. He got that one and he can't reject.

Nahh , you cross the line when you get stuff from the personal life innit, Her BF has nothing to do with this. the avatar was way to much, it's always her who gets picked. like i said yesterday enough is enough.

Juventuz: Where you can break a rule, offend people, and ask the member getting offended to get a sense of humour!
It's like an informal rule. I can say "Hey, I hate your avatar and you have to change it because I'm offended". Then what?

The line was crossed, but that doesn't have to mean an infraction should be given.

Stop being a holy savior Sheik, it doesn't work that way and it's easy to claim such.

If you say that, and are serious about it, then yes, I will change it. If it offends you, then I'll be kind enough to change it.

You don't need to be a holy saviour to see that a rule is being broken and you ask that the offender is not let go without any punishment. If not an infraction, the least you could do is to remove his av and ask Snoop and Alen to fuckin' grow up!

Asking is one thing, infraction for such is totally other.

That rule alone is too hard to deal with, like it or not, because everyone can claim such and say it's offending content. People would be offended to see politicians, flags, players in 'tars and ask to be removed. From Barcelona to Erdogan.
