i didn't partitioned my hard...i left it be, 500gb...now after 10 tries my win started. i'm so sick and tired of putting the whole thing again. i donno why other dudes don't have problems with windows. Anyways, how are you swag?

Doing alright, Blondu. Better than your computer, that's for sure.

It sounds like a couple of things. Missing 250Gb like that suggests either a partition that can't be found/mounted, or it suggests that maybe what file system you're using to format the disk can only provide memory addressing for up to 250Gb, leaving the other half in no-mans-land. To address the last one, you can partition the drive in two using some kind of fdisk utility or format it with a file system where you can address a full 500Gb of address space.
