Joe moved away from what I call wankery a long time ago. His music is more soulful nowadays. You should check out Steve Vai. He's really skilful on the guitar and actually plays some interesting music.

Exactly , showing off is not a problem as long as you don't do it over and over again .
Because after the first and second time people will know that you are really talented , and then they want something touches their souls , something meaningful , a piece that express something .
