damn was it heavy? Arabs use loads of fat in food, and specially animal fats :yuck:

We use anti cholesterol ones fortunately :)

what did you eat?
It actually was not too heavy, there was just a lot of stuff. Tabbouleh, hummus, yoghurt, rice, something else that was nice but not identified, and the kibbeh :) A lot more than I was expecting...

We swam, and it was beautiful. Unfortunately, he did some extra laps after I had gone to bed and is revisiting it all today :(

But it was really nice, we ended up going for Thai instead in the end. Had some lettuce wraps, crispy shrimp, red curry and mangoes with coconut ice cream :D

And I just had a massive amount of Syrian food for lunch. I blame Snoop :(
The Thai excursion sounds nice. I've always found it interesting that here Thai places emphasize better wine lists than most other kind of Asian cuisine restaurants.

As for your Syrian lunch, I hope your laptop cable can reach your restroom. :p

It was, and not too expensive. There are a lot of places here that have surprisingly nice wine lists (especially considering some of the food...) But wine here is quite expensive.

And the Syrian wasn't bad at all, I don't think the extra length cables will be needed at this point.
