And since our Hollywood starlet weddings don't get the coverage, these royal wedding things become the once-in-a-generation schlick-fests for princess wannabes in the same way sports fans have their World Cups. They're public, they're open, they're lavish, and they're completely vapid. Stuff a lot of people love.

If people can watch The Bachelor on TV, they sure as hell are gonna watch this crap.

And since our Hollywood starlet weddings don't get the coverage, these royal wedding things become the once-in-a-generation schlick-fests for princess wannabes in the same way sports fans have their World Cups. They're public, they're open, they're lavish, and they're completely vapid. Stuff a lot of people love.

If people can watch The Bachelor on TV, they sure as hell are gonna watch this crap.

Except that these aren't even our own "leaders", as if we should cherish their useless existence, too.

At least in the World Cup you have two countries competing against one another, with their fans (hopefully) supporting their nation's football.

The "Royal" bunch of degenerate pieces of trash wedding is just some rich clowns getting married. Anybody should have more enjoyment taking a dump than watching that.

Well of course. People here relate more to the spanish royals (I'm guessing because it's the mother land and all) but personally I wasn't going to lose any sleep to watch someone else's wedding. I watched the highlights and that's it
