I thought HS was harder than college. In HS I wasn't motivated but in college I wanted to get out of there and start making money ASAP so that pushed me
Yep the GMAT (I'm thinking about getting a MBA) score has to be very strong if you want to get into a good school. I've heard some schools care a lot about class position though
I couldn't believe how people in my econ classes were having so much difficulty plugging numbers into formulae and drawing basic S and D graphs. If you can't do that, you must have went to a really poor high school, or else should major in alien stick figure drawing.

Or maybe they weren't motivated when they were in HS and didn't learn much. It happened to me with math, during HS I was more attracted to doing things unrelated to any of my classes and all my flaws appeared in college

hehe, i've heard about this. One of my friends at Berkeley says that they are secretly cutting their plans to increase black enrollment because too many come in from easy high schools and flunk out in a year.

I didn't pay attention in school at all. When I was supposed to be memorizing my times tables I cheated with a calculator. Now I don't know it off-head , still a bad habit I carry till this day. I study on how to cheat

In HS I didn't even care about learning how to cheat. I would show up to tests without even reviewing what it was about haha. I got caught cheating only once though, in psychology class. I'll never forget it
