Absolutely. I think his style of music overshadows his guitar skills. Cos there's just so many instruments playing along with him. So it's easy to not notice that.

Zappa? Well I could give you a few of his accessible songs. But to truly experience Zappa's music, I think you should listen to full albums.

Flakes: One of my fave songs of his.

Inca Roads: Brilliant song. Though you may find it a little too long, it's enjoyable nonetheless.

Camarillo Brillo: Just a nice chilled out song about sex n stuff.

I suggest you listen to the album 'Sheik Yerbouti' on Grooveshark. Pretty long album with short songs, but it's a great album.
