Moderate/Heavy Freezing rain here. Accumulating on the deck and trees.

oh and andy what does it mean when theres crazy lightning and snow? first time i see it myself
Thundersnow. The embedded precip bands expand so far up in the atmosphere that their cloud tops resemble those of thunderstorms seen in the warmer months. You've basically got winter thunderstorms going on there, lucky bastard.

Station report is claiming freezing rain. Local temp 31 degrees via Weatherburg at a school in M-Burg.

You might get lucky with the surface temps overnight. Seems to me the heaviest band of freezing rain potential will be North of my area around H-Burg. Might be dodging a bullet here. Going to be close.
