We already found different sources of energy but those would never have the flexibility of oil products and that's the main reason while till this day almost everything is oil-dependent. So yeah, it's a good news we appear to have 250 years more gas assists as that could well mean less wars and less death and suffering along the way among many other things.

It just delays the wars etc. We will probably just delay till we really need another energy solutions.

And that's not good enough? What are you expecting it to end famine and natural disasters too? Come on man.

Just take a look at West Europe and take example of how dependent they're on Gas and how much of a disaster a shortage in that would cause to them. Hell, when Russia have some trouble getting that to them shit hits the fan now imagine how things will be if they didn't get ANY.

That's natural gas, dude. Not petroleum-based gasoline. We should definitely use more nat gas than we do now.
I'm not schooled in different classifications of gas, so I could be jumping the gun. My parents have seen what gas can do first hand. According my dad poor people in nigeria would try to steal gas and set themselves on fire by mistake etc. All it does is bring suffering.

Don't worry, sooner or later countries will be fighting for water resources
?? explain?

Demand is getting higher than available supply for fresh water! Plenty of countries are already suffering from such problem. The fight would be for fresh water resources. Add to it, the process of distilling sea water is a bit pricey!
Didn't think shit was getting this crucial, feels good to live in the U.S. I never hear of such issues.
