If this starts to get some legs and strengthens more rapidly, it could pull more cold air down from the North, allowing for the precip to remain snow for longer than anticipated in our area. Still looking like a lot of ice in the area, but we'll see.

It's a race against time for the coastal low to strengthen. Freezing rain line creeping North. Looks like we got a decent amount of cold air damming against the Appalachians to keep the precip to snow for a while, so now it's up to the low to speed up, deepen, and pull colder air down through the mid levels a few km's up.
