They need people to go around to every school computer in the district and install a program to remove a virus which somebody opened on of the computers and has now spread. All I would have to do is put a disk in, click next a dozen times and wait for the program to download then repeat that with each computer.

Apparently the few IT staff they have consider it a waste of their time. Its not a permanent thing but it would be work for about two months and I will probably get further opportunities.

Actually the money won't be coming from Sacramento. Since this is one of the better performing districts in a state where the school funding isn't related to local property taxes all of our money goes to funding useless programs at inner city schools and the parents here pay for everything with donations.

Its a waste really that the young people who will actually do something with their education are losing out in the name of being politically correct.

Thank you, Prop 13. This is what happens when you give voters all of the pet issue voting opportunities with none of the tradeoff and budgeting responsibilities to go with that.

Just flipped it over to the baseball game, and they were serenading the Bush family with God Bless America and cheers from the crowd.

Fuck. I thought I was over my hangover.
