Sorta similar. In the interim at least. Been working all week on something that turns out to be a dead end. :lazy:

Other than that things are good.
ouch, always kinda frsutrating knowing you have put in valuable hours for no reason, still hopefully it is something you can take some advantage out of?

for me,my job is like constantly bailing water, desperately trying to stop this ship from sinking. homecare should be a pleasure, knowing you have done something to help the betterment of someones life, instead it is a constant battle against people expectations of what is acceptable and ensuring nobody gets missed and sues for neglect

What's certain is that the original goal is not within reach. A lesser goal possibly. But it's not nearly as satisfying. It has to do with analyzing source code and removing parts of a program that are not needed, but I won't torture you with the technical stuff.

That sounds like it's a lot of travel for you, from one person's home to the next. Are these people elderly or just sick?

no i am the home care organiser,i deal with ensuring the client receive carers, ensure the carers have the time to get there, increase or reduce packages of care depending on the feedback of the carers, deal with social workers,OT's and families(who are NEVER happy with anything) match care packages to homecare agencies, chase up referrals....basically i do all the shit work and deal with all the phonecalls coming in

it should be satisfying,it is most certainly not

You're wrong Andries. You just don't like the guy because you were fighting over a stupid thing and because you think differently. There are many members here and it's noticeable who adds something and who not. Byrone is cool and funny guy.
I'm not trying to suck up but you're trying to find a reason to hate the guy when there's none. And you're basing your opinion only on one topic where you disagreed with him. Remember you had a 'thing' with Jack also because of one disagreement (when it came to Snoop). Mistake or not they make, we go on and there's no need to drag it with us.
Saying he adds nothing is just wrong and way off. It's clear when somebody adds nothing here and that is not him.
:qgree:
I don't elaborate because I don't have the time. I'm going to see my girlfriend in 30 minutes and I'm going to have sex with her without having to lie.
don't forget the protection, you know what earth bishop Leonard said in his book
