Finalizing preparations for Hurricane Igor that should be hitting us tomorrow afternoon/evening through to Monday morning. Supposedly the biggest hurricane to ever hit us. I feel prepared though, bought a new chainsaw today so I'm looking forward to using it during the aftermath/cleanup.

That must be a fucked up experience, do the insurance companies over there cover natural disasters?

We might have poverty & crime over here but at least we don't get hit by things like earthquakes, hurricanes & tornadoes.:D

But that shit's fun.

You lost me there..?
It is counterintuitive. But it's a good hangover, not bad. And soon it will be downed by moe beer.

Yeah we can get coverage but honestly most people opt against it because it's expensive and actual bad hurricanes only hit us once every so many years. Plus, most of the 'canes we do get aren't bad like this. Usually just a few hours of high winds with some rain and what not but this one is supposed to be the worst in like 10+ years.

I just hope I don't loose my roof because I'm pretty high up on a hill. Losing power is pretty much a certain at this point. The thing is 500 miles wide and we will have sustained winds of 100mph+ for about 12-16 hours if the forecasts are to be believed.

Oh well, ain't the first and won't be the last. Hope nobody gets killed during this one.

Yeah, especially when you can use them as cover ups for possible murders.

Thanks for explaining. I'd opt for, hell i'd claim so much shit that the insurance company would go broke on my claims.

Just make proper precautions & stay safe man.
