Of course this is a problem but I feel what you have brought up about police abusing their power is a problem with American policing in general and not just this immigration bill.

Police know the law and they know exactly what the can and cannot do. Cops abusing their power and their greater knowledge of the law compared to the average citizen is a separate issue that affects many people regardless of their immigration status.

I understand the real problem with the economy, you know that I do. But every single policy in place to "help the economy grow" is ass-backwards. Low interest rates to promote speculation all in the name of saving the big banks, not rewarding savers, raising taxes on all businesses, raising taxes in general, having government reward the less efficient firms, et cetera. It's all bad. It's all going to destroy the economy.

The problem with your argument is that you make it seem like the system is set up so we can compete with Europe and Asia. But the fact of the matter is, the policies deployed over the past thirty years are the exact opposite. The Ponzi economy rules the United States.

Illegals are not the only problem, but they are a problem.

Actually, I've heard more about illegals getting set free for committing crimes than actual citizens. Think about it. The deportation process costs money. Some departments just let them go because they have no ID, no money, no nothing. While on the other hand, legal citizens get slammed.

Even if it isn't commonly done the police shouldn't have the right trump up something out of nothing just because they want an excuse to question the offender over something completely unrelated and the immigration issue is no different. it isn't right but I still think that is a problem with American police.

The only way they could get back would be to walk 1000 miles east or west, or way south, which the criminal would not want to do...
