I worked at a government hospital and virtually had nothing to do there, i made friends with my boss, and she let me come whenever i wanted to, so most of the time, i went at 11 and was home by 1

Well here most schools require you to do an internship before you graduate, so companies are required by law to pay the interns (a misery)(the government pays half of the fees)
During my second one the company could not have paid me, but most companies pay they interns so they can have money to buy lunch
I wish I could have had an internship like yours BTW, both of mine were 8-5 jobs and I was required to do a bunch of stuff...
