There are newer models that are cheaper than the 9000 if you're looking to save money!

By newer I mean that will support the Blackberry OS 6 which is set to be released soon (there's hype around it)

The difference between the 9000 and 9700 is only $50.

The pad is much better than the ball.

Well size wise the 9700 is a huge improvement from the 9000

The trackpad is way better, that's why I said you're better off with a newer model...

The trackball gets dirty and stuck (it won't move or click) so you'll have to replace it. Won;t get that issue with the pad

Yep I had the old curve but switched to the new one

The trackpad sticking hasn't happened to me but try to wash your hands before using it, I've read that helps!

Yeah, that's what the girl told me to do. She asked if I used a lot of hair product, it's in for service now... so I'll see how they fix it.
