so you just think people have sex... others get born... they come here do whatever the fuck they want till nature/whatever decides their time is up so thats it bye bye everything forever?
Well... yes. We're brought into this life, and we don't come here by choice. We do what's necessary to be part of the society and people around us, experience what other humans and nature has to offer, we use and abuse them, give something back in return, and then die.

alright then, kudos to you for having certain beliefs/scienctific ideas that you believe in
Well, sexual reproduction isn't exactly a theory these days.

And there is evidence of certain atmospheric conditions that can be proven by instrumentation, etc that solve the mystery of the creation of the universe. However, if you wish to credit the nature of this scientifically proven phenomena to God (say god makes it happen) that's fine.

But to dismiss or ignore science is to dismiss God.

i dont dismiss science i just hate the fact that science is based on facts! if you cant "see it" or "prove it" then dont believe in it....thats bullshit imo......just because you dont know about something it doesnt mean its wrong.

it goes both ways btw but im just saying

That's because it's science. Faith is faith. They're both different, but not necessarily adverse to each other, just merely separate.

I'm sure you'd rather take medicine based on exact dosage rather than based on the belief that the 6 pills in your hand will not kill you.

In the same way, if we knew what happened after we died, it wouldn't seem so
'special'.

As for that guard dog, he/she was only trying to protect the pack from what it perceived to be intruders. About 4 months ago a little scumbag tried to break into my house. My dog and the dog next door chased him about a mile and dragged the little fuck to the ground. There are advantages to having such an animal on your property.
What do you mean by "little scumbag"? Like how little?

Btw in that kind of situation I can understand where you're coming from. The utility of it, sure.

I can't comment on dog poo because I don't pick mine's up. Mind you he only shits on beaches or in the forest, not the pavement.
Well that should be a ball for people who go to the beach or like to walk in the forest. Here in Holland they have these "green areas" in the cities where they typically have signs saying it's okay to let your dog run loose. Which is horrible (imo), because it's one of the few places where kids can play. This country is so densely populated that you don't have plenty of space for kids to play in, it's very rare. And when you then combine that with dog crap I just think it's reprehensible.

alright im sry then i take it back

thats okay.... i see it as something YOU created to make yourself feel good and be able to continue with life.... just like how you see that god doesnt exist

in the end we'll only know the true answer when we're dead
Again, it's not something you KNOW, but something you BELIEVE to make yourself feel good too. You have a fear that you'll not end up knowing the truth after you die, and that there'll just be darkness and silence after you die. You fear the feeling of being left empty handed when you expected to become an omniscient being and know the truth of it all. So you hang on to a belief that if you have faith in this so called concept of "God", then he\she\it will provide the answers for you.

In the end, it's all a way of trying to convince ourself of finding an answer we might never find. Believing in what you believe and keeping it to yourself is the right thing to do. It's best not to try and prove to the unbeliever of your concept to believe in yours by providing ZERO facts.

i just dont see why we'd be created (by whomever) to live in this fucked up life for no purpose with no moral beliefs or values or absolutely no goal, just spend some time in pain in a shit world and then dying forever.... whts the fuckin point?
So the goal of life is death? The point is to live.

Instead of just accepting the world as this painful, shit filled place, why not make the most of it? Try to live positively with the goal of leaving your part of the world a better place than when you left. it.

But if you need a reason for all this, then who is qualified to give you that reason? Do you think other humans have the answer?

im not trying to make you believe.....were just havin a discussion man i like these types of discussions.

maybe this might turn out to be the case with me and thats why i said it goes both ways.... i just fail to see that we're here for no damn reason and will leave this world just like we came to it....

then why do we bother doing anything then? why is there even morals? why dont you tell me to shut the fuck up, go to hell, and take a naked picture of your dick and post it to gross me off?

Your right. There is no purpose to our existence. So we try to find one. Most of the times, parents provide that purpose by stating the concept of God, and that we must do good in our life to reap the benefits he has to offer after our death. You hang on to an unproven, unrewarding purpose just because you're brought up by being forced to believe that purpose while no other purpose really exists.
