So enlighten me why you would say that?
Woah mate, take it easy.

I am not accusing you of being racist at all. Like I said before, i'm not so sure about your views on immigration and foreigners, but i'm guessing they would be similar to mine. I think the UK gives citizinship way too easily and just allows almost anyone to migrate there.

If your a racist, then so am I.

Not at all man. I thought the joke was relevant because people got on your back for supporting BNP on immigration. I agree with their stance on immigration too actually, but your comment above made it easy to make the Nick Griffin joke :p

BNP have got it right on immigration but put it across to racially. I think the main parties should tweak their immigration policys abit to lineup to peoples wants.

Anyways we have a political thread for this and I'm not as knowledgable as I would like to be on politics so I tend to keep it low.

Just come here and give me a kiss and forget it :toast:

Pretty much. Traders focus on technical patterns in charts, gamblers focus on technicalities in a game. Short term trading of securities is basically a glorified form of betting.

But unlike bets, traders have certain safeguards we can use to protect capital. We have something called "stop loss orders" which we can set to trigger if we start losing a lot of money. With bets you simply have a binary outcome, you either get a full payout or lose all your capital. The only time this happens in trading is if you make a really stupid trade or buy options.
Interesting.
There is something similar, although much more simplified, in betting when you secure half of your stake (but you get lower odds).

I'm like a maniac for these things so I better not get into it at all. I will be on it 24/7 and destroy my life until I get out of it.
